As a Principal Service Designer, my main responsibilities are:
Strategic.
Establishing design strategy and vision: setting the direction for the organization’s design efforts, defining design goals, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Project Delivery.
Ensuring design quality and consistency: responsible for maintaining high design standards and consistency across different products and services.
Innovation.
Overseeing the innovation process: being involved in every stage, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation, while providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues. Contributing to the organization’s best practice design methodology. Directing and challenging seniors on methodologies and innovation.
Client Relationship.
Furthering positive relationships with clients who cherish the continuity of the company’s work.
Uncovering the clients’ needs and wants, and their challenges, and identify new business opportunities.
Team.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: working closely with stakeholders from different departments such as product management, tech, and business, fostering collaboration and ensuring design integration across the organization.
I mentor the design team, fostering their professional growth, and skill development.
